Meadowbrook Golf Course Redesign by Colligan Golf Design
The original Meadowbrook layout was designed nearly a century ago by golf course legend John Bredemus. For this new era, the city tapped Colligan Golf Design, led by John Colligan and Trey Kemp, to bring the course back to life.
Their redesign rerouted 15 holes, widened fairways, and rebuilt bunkers and greens to give the course a more open, modern feel while still respecting its historic roots. Add in brand-new irrigation, cart paths, and improved drainage (thanks to enlarged ponds), and you’ve got a layout that feels fresh, challenging, and fun.
This makes Meadowbrook one of the most exciting newly renovated golf courses in Texas.

Native Landscaping & Fresh Vibes
Around the clubhouse, you’ll see landscaping filled with Texas-native plants like vitex, salvia, and lantana. Not only do they look great, but they’re also drought-friendly—perfect for keeping Meadowbrook beautiful year-round.
A brand-new maintenance facility was also built, so you can expect the course conditions to stay sharp well into the future.

Meadowbrook’s new branding gives the course a fresh identity. The updated logo features a playful nod to its new feathered ambassador: the black-bellied whistling duck. These ducks have long been a presence around the property, and now they symbolize the course’s rebirth.
The logo feels modern, welcoming, and rooted in Fort Worth’s natural character. Spot one of these ducks on your round, and hey—maybe it’ll bring you some extra luck.
